Colors and shapes

“So many things that I’ve created, well this right here might be my favorite” - Mac Miller

This year’s menu, and soft-open for Love, Peace and Grilled Cheese “Colors and Shapes” on September 1st saw over 900 attendees, mostly in the span of 4 hours. The pop-up kitchen was open 4-10:30 and served almost 500 covers. Can’t say enough about how much fun our first night working together was, and how hard everyone worked to pull it off, averaging over a person served per minute at a pop up kitchen is ridiculous, and we really were trying to serve as many of yinz as possible!

This year, we raised a total of $2000 for the fund in one night We are so proud of everyone involved, its an amazing accomplishment. This year’s donation marks a total of $5,000 raised in 3 events for The Mac Miller Fund over the last 3 years.

This year in addition to the Mac Miller fund, we raised money for local harm reduction heros: KMFK Safety Services. As well as other volunteers that worked on the project, those numbers are still being tallied, there will be an update when have a final number!

It’s clear to us that this event has found a forever home, we couldn’t be more excited for next year, there’s so much we can’t wait to share that didn’t make it into this years event.

Thank you to anyone that made it out to try the food, we hope you will join us in November in Pittsburgh for opening night!
